For My Husband's New Wife - Chapter 14
Chapter 14
“Yes. What about the work station?”
“Observe it and resolve it in accordance with the law.”
Jill remembered the appearance of the director who had insulted Anita.
He knew that the Volloni family had fallen, but he did not know that Anita and Lancelot were friends.
Therefore, it is true that the knowledge you possess is inferior to the information you need.
“Since he tried to force work in the cabaret as a dancer, it could be considered as human trafficking… it will end with a fine because it happened before as well.”
“Then make it not comparable.”
“Yes.”
After delivering a nice response and remaining steady, Jill did not depart and instead asked Lancelot what he was doing by observing his eyes.
“I apologize for my rudeness, but may I say one thing?”
Lancelot’s gaze was burning.
Jill, however, disregarded Lancelot’s apprehensive expression and spoke.
“You’re so mean to lady Anita… she lost both of her family and household in a day, yet you immediately asked her for marriage.”
“Asked her for marriage?”
Lancelot chuckled in a quiet voice at Jill’s words.
“I guess you think that it’s gonna be a marriage with love that’s why I asked her.”
“This is not a marriage of love, therefore you must be extra cautious. Moreover, Miss Anita is the master’s 10 year friend, correct? You must maintain the bare minimum of civility.”
“I’ll only listen to you one more time, so choose your words carefully.”
He is, in a word, pretty merciful.
Jill immediately prodded his tongue without inhaling, as though he had been waiting.
“Master has the liberty to choose a wife at one point, but she doesn’t have that same liberty. If you want to ask for collaboration, please consider her heart so that you both can come to a satisfying conclusion. Young Lady Anita is your friend, not your employee.”
Hooh. Jill drew a quick breath.
“Additionally, because this is a marriage on the verge of dissolution, you must pay greater attention to it. Obviously, Ms. Anita is a rare discovery in this day and age: a girl with a strong will. Even the master is aware that such a person becomes eternally pathetic your grandmother’s presence—”
“I believe I instructed you to just utter one word.”
“Anyway, what I’m trying to say is don’t exert too much pressure on her.”
Lancelot did not respond at all.
Silence continued. It signified departing when finished. There was little change in his body language, so Jill could not determine if he accepted or just listened to his suggestions.
“I’m sure that you’ll take care of it.”
Nonetheless, he wants to see it this time.
Anita Volloni.
Does the daughter of the Volloni family, who has just been knighted, really deserve the title of Duchess Edenbahir?
‘It is a ludicrous question, if the grandmother hears this, she will rip her hair out.’
However, Lancelot attempted to make the query a reality. He would not have interfered if the opponent had been a girl from a different household of whom he did not know the name or face.
‘The young girl who was formerly a crier may become the hostess. It is something to witness and live with for a long time in the world.’
Since she was a young kid, Jill had been seeing a woman called Anita Volloni.
Jill met numerous ladies in the past, but he’s never met a female with as plain good nature as Anita.
In comparison to other people, Miss Anita is 10 times more valued.
Thus, Jill wants to be content. If he could provide even little assistance, he desired to do so.
Even though he was aware that the world would not let her go.

Immediately after supper.
Anita proceeded to the Duke Edenbahir’s bedroom after some thought.
Duke Edenbahir was always kind to Anita. She imagined that if she had an uncle, she would want it like the Duke
Her biological father and his siblings were always fighting, so she never had any fond memories with them.
Giikk.
In addition to her father and the household, her new problem became the talks of marriage.
As soon as she entered his chamber, Anita, who was attempting to resolve her problems, was rendered speechless by the Duke of Edenbahir.
Because of the bones sticking under his thin frame, Duke Edenbahir was like a mummy lying on his bed.
‘Since you cannot see my face, I anticipated it—
I began to lament the fact that I hadn’t seen him in two years.’
Anita walked by the doctor, who seemed to have just completed her nighttime checkup, and sat on the chair beside the bed with caution.
“Duke, I haven’t seen you in a very long time. It’s me, Anita.”
She spoke softly, but received no answer.
Anita felt like a fool for approaching him in hope.
“You’re sick and in discomfort so you cannot be woken up.”
At that time,
The doctor, who was in the midst of arranging her suitcase, put a little letter on her lap while she was in the process of talking with the Duke and murmured
“Do not reveal it to anyone. Likewise to Lancelot-nim. These are the goods arranged for Miss Anita by the Duke.”
Before the doctor left the room, she inquired hurriedly while staring blankly at the envelope.
“I… the Duke’s health—”
The physician swiftly turned her head and responded in a quiet tone.
“He occasionally opens his eyes… but—”
That’s it.
After the door had shut, Anita retrieved the Duke’s letter.
Why not show it to Lancelot as well?
She cautiously opened the envelope containing her inquiry. The item included was a worn-out ticket.
[Shallywood for Eden: Item Storage Green 136]
Chavalon is home to the expansive amusement park Shallywood for Eden. It is a ticket to the amusement park’s baggage storage facility.
“Duke, why did you give me this?”
There is no method to get a response.
Anita, who stood by the Duke of Edenbahir, returned to her room with an old ticket in her arms. I hope tomorrow will come soon.

“Miss! Are you really comfortable traveling alone? I already have a steam-powered automobile and attendant on standby.”
Anita, who was just about to leave the duke’s mansion, was summoned by a loud voice. Jill was the one who followed her around the garden.
Anita responded, replacing her brimmed hat without a crease. The housemaids cleaned and pressed her garments last night, so the dresses, caps, and scarves she brought were as good as new.
“I’ll be stopping by for a bit. I do not want to be a bother.”
“How can a vehicle and an employee be considered a nuisance?”
Anita smiled slightly as she regarded Jill, whose expression she could not comprehend in the least.
It is now 3 pm.
It was the ideal moment to visit the amusement park under the guise of a casual excursion.
Since the morning, Lancelot has seemed occupied.
For Anita, who was required to conceal the presence of the ticket, it was also a chance to go without meeting his gaze.
“Lancelot expressed interest in having supper with you. Is that alright?”
“Yes… I will go.”
“Then be cautious. Simply provide this business card to the management office if anything goes wrong. Then they shall help you immediately.”
Jill sent Anita with Lancelot’s business card, and she immediately proceeded to the amusement park.
It took her just 20 minutes to get from the downtown area to the amusement park in the automobile with the proceeds from selling the earrings.
“One adult.”
She entered the amusement park after purchasing a ticket and saw the people with fresh eyes.
There were much too many.
‘This is not the case. Luggage storage, luggage storage—’
No matter how hard she searched, she was unable to locate the green vault; only the red and blue vaults were there. When she read the sign posted at the door to the storage area, Anita believed she understood the rationale.
[Long-term storage items will be relocated to the old storage. The former storage space is situated on the first level of the waste management facility.]
It is anything that has been kept for an extended period of time. The green archive would be what they refer to as the old archive. When she considered the look of the old ticket, she was confident.
“Sister Anita?”
At that time.
A delicate, soft voice emanated from behind Anita’s back.
Anita’s eyes widened as she identified the voice’s source.
“Sasha.”
Sasha House, Claunia’s sister, approached her and gave her a loving embrace.
