I Became My Son's First Love - Chapter 36
“I don’t want to get lost again.”
“But I remember the way we went perfectly.”
Eve laughed openly in disbelief. “I don’t believe you.”
When Eve called for a servant, Dane slumped his shoulders and backed off.
After parting ways with Dane, Eve returned to her room and was soon prepared for bed. Once the maids quietly left, she sat on the bed in a light slip, gazing out the window.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. It was late, an unusual time for a visitor, and past memories came to mind. Eve hesitated but then heard the knock again.
“Who is it?”
Like in the past, the door opened silently. Unsurprisingly, Azazel stood there in comfortable attire. Eve, perhaps due to the familiarity of the situation, was not startled.
“What brings you here?”
As before, Azazel entered the room without waiting for permission.
Eve, with a hint of irritation, said, “I didn’t say you could come in.”
“Did you not?”
Eve, already knowing that raising her voice wouldn’t do much against his calm demeanor, kept her lips tightly shut. He had been behaving so calmly that she thought the night might pass without any incidents, but she was mistaken.
With a sigh, she asked, “So why are you here?”
“I heard that someone is courting you. It made me feel a little impatient.”
“What?”
Rather than answering her question, Azazel said something completely off-topic.
“Have you started speaking more casually to me?” he asked.
Eve shrugged. It was an unconscious action on her part, but she felt no obligation to explain herself. Azazel, however, seemed surprised, interpreting her behavior differently.
“Does that mean you’ve decided to accept me as your son again?”
Eve laughed in disbelief. “Are you joking?”
“So you’re saying that’s not the case? I’m relieved.”
Azazel’s charming smile made Eve’s annoyance flare up as he confidently stepped toward her. She didn’t hide her irritation and snapped, “Just shut up already.”
Azazel nodded slightly and called out, “Eve.”
At that moment, the voice of the man from her dreams echoed in her ears, causing her to snap her head up in shock. When her eyes met Azazel’s clear blue gaze, she gritted her teeth. She couldn’t believe that even in this situation, she was reminded of the man from her dream.
There was no resemblance between them. The man in her dreams had pitch-black hair and deep, dark-green eyes, while Azazel had radiant golden hair and transparent blue eyes. His body might be somewhat similar, but beyond that, they shared no common traits.
‘Come to think of it, he does have a great body.’
Eve had always been focused on his face, but the day before, when she had seen him from behind, she had noticed just how large and muscular he was. Her gaze drifted from his broad shoulders down to the firm chest she had briefly touched before.
Azazel, sensing her attention, asked smoothly, “Is my body to your liking? That would be fortunate.”
Eve, who had been looking down, lifted her eyes to meet his and said, “You have a better body than I thought.”
“Well, I’m glad you like at least the outer shell.”
Who wouldn’t like that body?
Eve chuckled softly, and Azazel asked lazily, “So, with a body like this, are you tempted to take it? I’d happily offer it to you.”
It was clear that Azazel had come to her with the same intent as the first time he visited her room. Though circumstances were different now, that still didn’t give her a reason to accept him. Yet, she didn’t push him away…
Azazel’s hand slid between Eve’s thighs, his large, warm palm gently squeezing the inside of her leg. The moment his hand touched her, the memory of her dream came flooding back. It was only natural that her mouth would begin to water, just like someone savoring the sight of a delicious meal.
In her dream, even though things had gone further than usual, she hadn’t fully gone all the way with the man. Could real life be better than that? What would it feel like to have sex with the most handsome man in the empire? Questions kept pushing Eve closer to the edge.
Sensing her hesitation, Azazel gently pushed her onto the bed. As she lay there, Eve’s thoughts kept spiraling: Is this the right decision? Is it okay to give in to this desire? What will sex with him be like?
All her questions pointed to one thing: she was deeply attracted to him. Despite the fact that he had once been her son, she was filled with lust for him.
Eve licked her lips, feeling the burning thirst. How nice it would be to give in to this desire without worrying about the consequences? As she wrestled with her thoughts, another memory surfaced.
An affair.
How seductive the word sounded. What had once been a sarcastic comment made to Azazel had become a solution to her inner conflict. Social status and relationships were burdensome, but Azazel, in purely physical terms, was incredibly attractive.
After quickly weighing her options, Eve locked eyes with Azazel, who was now straddling her, waiting patiently for her response.
“You said you’d be fine with an affair.”
Azazel frowned slightly. “For now, yes.”
“That’s as far as it will go.”
It wasn’t a question; it was a statement.
“Well…”
Azazel gazed down at her with a mixture of frustration and pleasure. Eve had no intention of going further without an answer. Finally, Azazel sighed softly, as if he had no choice.
“Alright, for now. Does that mean today won’t be the last time?”
Eve didn’t shy away from his persistent gaze.
“If I like it.”
“As I mentioned, I’m a virgin…”
“That’s your problem.”
“Is it?”
Azazel smiled, cupping her face gently with his large hand, and whispered seductively, “Then I’ll do my best.”
“Make sure you do.”
“It’s an honor to have the chance before my father, Mother.”
The way he used the title “Mother,” just to provoke her, was irritating.
Eve raised an eyebrow. “You knew Dane had feelings for me, didn’t you?”
Azazel’s beautiful lips twisted in annoyance. “I did, but it’s not something to worry about right now. After all, you seem to like me more than him, don’t you?”
Azazel leaned closer, whispering as if seeking confirmation, “I’m better, aren’t I? In every way.”
Eve removed his hand from her cheek, giving him a cold evaluation. “Your arrogance is showing.”
“Isn’t it true? If you didn’t find me attractive, you wouldn’t be accepting me now.”
Azazel caressed her fingers delicately, and Eve, grabbing his collar tightly, commanded, “Take it off, then.”
Azazel’s eyes widened in surprise, and Eve smirked. Watching his handsome face falter for her was always thrilling. She loved that she was the only one who could see him like this, but more than that, she enjoyed being the one in control.
Though Azazel often rushed in impulsively, he would freeze up the moment she responded actively. His innocence was quite endearing. But today, she didn’t need an adorable man.
Lowering her voice to a sultry tone, she teased, “Dane came to my house prepared.”
Azazel’s expression shifted as he raised an eyebrow and asked, “…Prepared for what?”
“For sex, obviously. You’re prepared, too, aren’t you?”
Azazel squeezed his eyes shut for a moment and then opened them again, under Eve’s gaze, which scanned his body up and down, as if evaluating him.
“Ha, really…”
Azazel let out a small sigh, and his gaze soon sank lower. It seemed the provocation had worked. Eve reached out to him, offering him her complete permission for the first time.

Eve’s hand softly stroked Azazel’s broad shoulders as she naturally undid his shirt. Azazel took a sharp breath.
With only a few buttons undone, the shirt slid off his torso, revealing his body beneath. As they lay on the bed, the two of them greedily took in each other’s forms.
As his eyes traced the soft, white curves of her body, so tempting that he wanted to leave bite marks on her, blood rushed to his groin.
While Azazel fought the urge to bite and savor her pink nipples showing through the slip, Eve traced the groove of his muscles with her fingers, slowly moving from his chest down to his lower abdomen.
Eve didn’t particularly want to think of Dane or the man from her dreams, but she had no other comparisons. Azazel’s waist was slightly slimmer than Dane’s, yet his muscles were firmer and more defined.
‘Is it because he’s younger?’ Eve mused with a faint smile, looking up at Azazel, who was watching her intently. His blue eyes were filled with raw, unmasked desire as they roved over her body. She wasn’t used to seeing his face without the usual mask he wore to suppress his emotions. It felt foreign.
Azazel’s large hand gripped Eve’s shoulder, sliding down past her collarbone to her chest. The slip, loosely tied at the shoulders, fell away easily under his touch. His hand closed over her breast, squeezing it tightly. Azazel rubbed her nipple roughly with his thumb.
