I'm Stuck on a Remote Island With the Male Leads - Chapter 50
I bent down and picked it up carefully.
I thought it was pure white, but when I looked closely, it was a silvery, shiny egg.
“Is it a bird egg?”
“It could be a monster’s.”
Kayden said, resting his chin on the back of his hand, “If you don’t know, you better put it down.”
Agreed with him, Enoch murmured, “Then it might be dangerous, so it’s better to put it a little further away from the cabin.”
I went very far out of the cabin, laid the egg down, and then returned to the cabin.
When I returned, the cabin was noisy.
When I went into the cabin with Enoch and Kayden, I was surprised to see the cabin in a mess.
I asked Ruzef, “What’s going on?”
Ruzef with a red face turned to me.
Holding back his laugh, he said, “Oh, Young Lady, you should go out for a while. Pfft, if you’re here, you’ll see something bad.”
Just in time, Diego jumped down from the second floor in his underwear.
When he saw me, he screamed in surprise. At the same time, large hands reached out from both sides of me and covered my eyes. It was Enoch and Kayden.
“What the hell is this, Sir Diego?”
Enoch’s cold voice could be heard. The loud noise coming down the stairs and the sound of Kayden laughing like crazy were very chaotic.
“What’s happened?”
“Sir Diego seems to have lost his clothes. He went to a nearby valley to take a morning bath, but in the meantime, his clothes were nowhere to be found, so he came up here with only his underwear on.”
“Ah, that’s what happened.”
I couldn’t stand it and burst into laughter joyfully.
Then the hand covering my eyes was lowered and my body turned around. Enoch turned me up in a direction where Diego was out of sight.
“No way, Margaret……”
I smiled at Enoch.
“I went to the valley earlier, too.”
Kayden, who was standing next to me, put his arm around my shoulder and asked, holding back his laughter.
“Was it your work, Margaret?”
“What does that mean?”
Ruzef looked at me with a puzzled face.
I glanced at Ruzef, then saw Diego behind him, only covered in underwear, and turned my head again. Poor my eyes.
I turned to Enoch and raised my voice so Diego could hear me.
“There is a saying called ’cause and effect’. This means that you get karma for what you have done. So why the hell did a knight do perverted things like stealing a woman’s dress?”
“Hey, Young Lady, did you steal my clothes?”
“I didn’t steal it, you just reap what you sowed.”
I made excuses very cleverly and burst out laughing cheerfully.
Not to mention that Enoch’s expression looking at me changed subtly, it was so much fun for now.
“I’m sorry.”
Then Diego’s voice was heard. I tried to turn my back in wonder, but Enoch grabbed my shoulders so tightly that I couldn’t face Diego.
“Don’t look back. It’s ugly.”
At Enoch’s words, I gently nodded, and Kayden once again grabbed his stomach and laughed.
“At that time, I was not sane. I continued to reflect on what happened that day and blamed myself.”
Being on this island has no choice but to be insane. But that’s all I understand.
“What were you going to use my dress for?”
“I was going to give it to the Saintess.”
To Yuanna?
“The Saintess also has clothes……”
Then I suddenly remembered that Yuanna’s clothes were a little more shabby than mine, but that’s no excuse to justify stealing someone else’s clothes.
I pondered a while then asked him again.
“Why didn’t you apologize right away?”
I asked Diego with my arms crossed without looking back.
“That…… this may sound like an excuse but I was looking at the timing to apologize,” Diego said desperately.
I listened to his apology and pondered for a moment. Is it better to refuse or accept his apology?
I don’t think it’s right to accept his apology so easily. I decided not to return his clothes until this afternoon.
At the right time, the front door of the cabin was opened and Yuanna and Arthdal entered.
“What are you all doing? Ohh!”
Yuanna looked at me with a puzzled look and screamed when she looked over my back. Along with Arthdal’s shout, Diego was scolded a second time.
I didn’t tell him where his clothes were until around the evening.
Diego’s clothes were under Arthdal’s bed. He must have never thought of searching under the crown prince’s bed.
“As expected, Margaret has a sense of humor.”
After that incident, Kayden persuaded me to think of another way to prank Diego.
“I’m tired.”
It takes a considerable amount of time and mind to tease someone or take revenge.
“That’s too bad.”
Kayden pursed his lips as if he was disappointed. After all, he wouldn’t give up with just one try.

After boiling porridge with mushrooms and finishing dinner, we held a meeting. It was to discuss future plans.
We sat together in front of the fireplace. It must be rare to see high-ranking nobles sitting on the ground like this and having a meeting.
Those who initially followed manners have now naturally adapted to this harsh environment. Maybe if time goes by longer, even each other’s status will be meaningless.
I hope they all keep their senses until we get off this island.
“Shall we start the meeting?”
While I was immersed in such thoughts, I heard Enoch’s voice and raised my head.
The meeting was chaired by Enoch who was experienced with cabinet meetings and tactical meetings well.
I thought Arthdal would object, but he seemed to have no interest in the meeting itself at all, and he kept his arms crossed and smiled slyly throughout the whole time with a non-cooperative attitude.
“Is there really nothing you can guess, Saintess?”
At Enoch’s sharp voice, I raised my head again. Even after hearing Enoch’s rebuke, Yuanna shook her head with a calm face without being intimidated.
“No. I know nothing but the key beside me when I woke up.”
Enoch looked at Yuanna’s face.
I propped my chin up and looked at him with a somewhat strange feeling.
Enoch is by no means the type of person who falls in love at first sight. Even in the original story, I remember that he was slowly fascinated by Yuanna before finally falling for her.
Maybe you are still in the process of falling in love?
Enoch, Kayden, and Archbishop Ruzef, who had been hostile toward me, had only now been kind enough to me.
I must not forget that they may become Yuanna’s people in the future. Don’t let your guard down, Margaret!
I carefully observed Enoch’s gaze at Yuanna.
But no matter how much I observe, Enoch’s gaze on Yuanna is like……
“You don’t even know where the escape gate is?”
Enoch questioned Yuanna again.
It was like interrogating a sinner.
Can the male lead’s gaze at the female lead be like that?
“Aren’t you asking too much? You scared the Saintess.”
Diego spoke as if protecting Yuanna. Of course, Yuanna didn’t look scared at all.
Enoch tilted his head.
“Sir Diego.”
Enoch’s low voice could be heard. Enoch’s golden eyes, staring at Diego, shone terrifyingly as if they were about to crush the opponent.
The breathtaking atmosphere reminded me of the fact that Enoch was the Crown Prince of the Empire, and also the Battle Commander who led the war to victory.
“Do I always have to remind you to maintain your manners?”
Diego had nothing to say. Yeah, it would be strange if he had something to say.
“When you return to the Empire, prepare yourself for being demoted.”
At Enoch’s words, Yuanna, who was pressing her temple hard, looked at him.
“Then it would be an excessive abuse of power just because Sir Diego took my side.”
Oddly enough, she didn’t seem interested in Enoch at all.
